Why do women who are heavy earn less?

probably cuz they don’t do the job as well because they’re unfit, or the person whose paying them is just unfair.

That’s absolutely disgusting :| The people that pay them less deserve a good smack across the face. That’s just…ugh.

it also deals with “advertisement” sorta speak. employers who own businesses where you have to have customers come in all the time, they want attractive women. its proven that if you have attractive women working in a place (like a restaurant or something) where business is dependent on customers coming to the store, its proven that if you have attractive women working there more people come back. more men come back and even the women too. business is business it doesnt matter how you look at it, any way to make more money employers will do or explore.

I heard this somewhere a while ago. I think it’s totally unfair and quite frankly, quite disgusting. We live in this amazing world where anything we could possibly want takes less than 5 minutes to be instantly in your hands, yet we still have this judgmental, dare I say b*tchy quality that made high school so depressing for 80% of the nation. Like, GET A FREEKIN LIFE oh my god what makes one person any less equal than another?! WTF I just hate this privileged attitude that some women have. I wish I could just pull them aside and shake them and say You know what? EVERYONE’S THE SAME! I bet Brenda would look like you too if she spent all of her money on hilights, new clothes and the freekin lemon detox freekin diet! Ugh I hate our world.

oh! and plus since we are in the healthier world movement, well at least in america, companies also have bonuses for people who become healthy and stay healthy. now its not every company but there are companies that do that. so it gives added motivation to be skinner for people. just saying, i remember hearing about it.

I’m not surprised. I know of a specific woman who refuses to hire overweight woman, because it is damaging to her company’s image. It’s the image of the company that matters most, that is also why companies don’t hire people who have tattoos or excessive piercings showing. Furthermore someone who is fit and healthy is less likely to be sick off work, someone who is overweight is not. And live is not fair, EVERYONE judges people on their appearance.

Well people are very mean when it comes to things like that. The employers seem to think that having skinny people working will bring in more costumers. When in some cases it is the heavier people who do more efficient work than the skinnier people. All in all it is not fair and it shouldn’t happen.

You do know that taller men earn more? And men in general earn more than women. It’s the same sort of thing. Discrimination exists, it’s part of life. And it is what it is.
