Do women have to get check-ups and such if they're pregnant or can they just go the 9 months without it?

Answer #1

You don’t HAVE to, but wouldn’t you prefer to know if the baby is healthy or not?

no, you should definately get checkups or else you wont know if your fetus is healthy or not.

Answer #3

Yes, women have to get checkups, or they can be charged with medical neglect if something goes wrong with the baby. Hopefully though the incentive would be a healthy baby, and not avoiding ja.il or loss of the baby.

For sure, the process of a growing fetus has many complications!! What if there’s a defect? What if your baby is lacking nutrition? Wouldn’t you want to know the progress of your child, to have a professional guide you through each trimester, making sure you and your baby to be are both healty?

Answer #6

well how long can a woman wait before going to one?

Answer #7

As soon as she finds out she is pregnant she should go for a check up.

Answer #8

no, you have to go to the doctors for checkups and to make sure the baby is healthy and everything is ok with your and the babys health.

Answer #9

Yes.

You need ultrasound to tell you whether the baby is complete and healthy.

And Whether you have one, twins or quintuplets (which would cause the complete hospital to go busy as soon as you get there, in any smaller town, they’d adapt the vacation plans of their staff so that everyone’s there when you are due).

You need to know early whether you have any infections or mycosis or anemia anything else that might damage the baby. So they can medicate that in sufficient time.

Answer #10

Some pregnant women get no prenatal care at all. Technically you can’t be forced to receive medical treatment so they can skip prenatal care but they shouldn’t. Any pregnant woman who has any concern for the health of her baby or herself should be under medical care for their pregnancy. The earlier the better.

Answer #11

Ok, I don’t think you’re understanding this. A woman goes immediately after she finds out. It’s not like an oil change in a car where you can keep going and ignoring the orange maintenance light for a while. If they plan on keeping it, they go asap to ensure everything’s ok.
