I have a wireless mouse, and it works on most surfaces. However, my desk has recently been painted, and now it will not work. :/ I currently have a thin piece of paper taped to the desk that it works on, lol.. but it is tearing and is definitely not a long-term solution. :(
Any suggestions to a better, more long-term solution?
Get a lap table and remove the cushion from under it and you can use that as a mouse pad. If money is tight for you, see if you can get a really thin, flat smooth wood (wide enough to place your mouse over) and place it on your desk or visit a second-hand shop and get one. These cushioned lap table are so thin once the cushion is removed, it sits perfectly fat on the desk.
That's exactly what my problem was before. And I used a piece of paper haha. Just use a hard surface, play around with things until it works good. I use my portable dvd player, it's small enough and it works!
Well it's the desk thats the problem, not the mouse. So see if you can get a mouse-pad! Or another piece of paper!!!
