Winning over the chick

Im 14 and there’s this girl I’ve like for a while. We were friends for a little while and I got the feeling she kinda liked me. Unfortunatly I got pissed at her because her then ex and now current boyfriend was threatening me for talking to her and she stopped talking to me. Th strange thing hes like 17 and im only 14 so Im going to have to deal with him next year in highschool so I dont really want to piss him off. I dont really talk to her ever cause im kinda shy but we eknowladge eachother still. Im still trying to win her over. Any advise?

well how old is the chick?? if she is your age- she would probably be more comfortable with you but with the other guy she is getting more publicity to guys
