Answer #3

I really don’t understand why people feel the need to join a religion, but if you’re going to pick one, at least Wicca isn’t obnoxious.

Answer #4

I think it is a beautiful act of nauture. It is the most peaceful thing that will help people in bad situations make good decisions.

If you are deciding to be Wiccan I would suggest reading up on it though. Don’t just come up to people being like “Oh yeah guess what guys I’m wiccan and I do magic.” You will sound and appear ignorant and I’m sure you don’t want that. Magic isn’t all about the spells so don’t think it is. It is about enjoying what is naturally around you, the things that people over look and abuse.

I hoped this helped in whatever you are trying to figure out. I wish you all of the happiness.

Wicca is great and I’ve never tried to annoy people to change. I’ve never seen any wiccan do it in fact.

Answer #6

I have no problem with it. In fact it’s better than a lot of other religions, because I’ve never heard/seen a Wiccan trying to force their beliefs down anyone’s throat.

Answer #7

It’s a very very beautiful belief system. I really enjoy learning about it. I admire wiccans. They are so pure and nice. They have such good morals. (At least all of the ones I know- but because the way Wicca is, I assume most would be the same)

Now I know that I’m gonna make some people angry, and I’m sorry for that. What I’m trying to say here is not that Wiccans are bad people, that they are all using dark magic, or that they specifically mean to come against Christians. All I can tell you is what the Bible says. Over and over again in the bible you can see “witchcraft” used in reference to a sin, or horrible acts.

(I’m not using caps to yell but make things stand out)

Galations 5:19-21 “Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, WITCHCRAFT, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.”

Nahum 3:4-6 “Because of the multitude of the whoredoms of the wellfavoured harlot, the mistress of WITCHCRAFTS, that selleth nations through her whoredoms, and families through her WITCHCRAFTS. Behold, I am against thee, saith the LORD of hosts; and I will discover thy skirts upon thy face, and I will shew the nations thy nakedness, and the kingdoms thy shame. And I will cast abominable filth upon thee, and make thee vile, and will set thee as a gazingstock.”

2 Chronicles 33:6 “And he caused his children to pass through the fire in the valley of the son of Hinnom: also he observed times, and used enchantments, and used WITCHCRAFT, and dealt with a familiar spirit, and with wizards: he wrought much evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger.”

I do believe that the Wiccans have found something real. I realize that most Wiccans use magick to protect themselves or others, ward off negative auras, or quicken healing. I think that this work is done through familiar spirits, which is referenced in the last verse I quoted. Through what I have read and come to understand through scripture some people can speak to these spirits such as the spirit of infirmity.

Luke 13:11 “And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself.”

And though it does work we are told in the Bible to not use such remedies. Because it is not just healing you but also aiding in you placing faith in a false god (many of what the other cultures around the world call gods the Christians call false gods or spirits who set up false religions to lead people away from the true way of salvation).

Leviticus 19:31 “Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I am the LORD your God.”

Deuteronomy 8:9-12 “When thou art come into the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not learn to do after the abominations of those nations. There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch. Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee.”

2 Kings 21:6 “And he made his son pass through the fire, and observed times, and used enchantments, and dealt with familiar spirits and wizards: he wrought much wickedness in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger.”

Some Christians even take it to such an extreme where they don’t even want to use modern medicines, because of their roots sometimes originate in cultures that practiced Wiccanism, Paganism, and Sadism. … (I however do not take it to that extreme; I believe modern medicine is a testament to the brilliance of the human mind that God created).

I am sorry to any Wiccans out there that take this offensively. I have no doubt that you are good people but our beliefs collide at their very foundations. I do not think that anyone should go through ANY kind of persecution for any reason. And Christians that do are hypocritical in their own beliefs because we are not taught to act that way, even with someone who believes contradictory to how we do.
