Why the hell is being bi so populare?

Most girls who claim to be bisexual are really not. They just like the extra attention they get from guys by giving themselves that label. Is more like a fashion statement for many insecure girls that get a rush from the extra attention. Since is also more accepted now then real bisexual girls are coming out of the closet.

I don’t think the song has anything to do with it.. Just more people are open about their sexuality, Others are just in it for who knows what. I’ve been bisexual before that song ever came out, And I was open before being bisexual was “ cool “ but eh.

Being bi for girls seems to be something that has become mainstream in the last 10-15 years. The song reflects current attitudes rather than creating them.

I agree with tash. there were lots of bisexuals in the world befor katy perry became famous and there will be many more in the future and im sure some of them will never hear that ‘awful’ song.

Kay so first off, bisexuality didn’t start with that song. Bisexuality was around along time before that song came out, along time before Katy was famous, and I’m just gonna guess before she was even born…
