Why is piercing your ears at Claires not safe? Is the infection rate higher than getting your ears pierce at a tatoo store? because I got my ears pierced at Claires and it's infected like trillions times, and I don't know does that have to do with Claires, or its just me. It shouldnt be me because I clean it with their antiseptic daily.
Well, I got my second piercing done at the jewellers because a friend of mine experienced the same infection at Claires. Possible problems are they do not properly sterilise the gun after each use. The cleaning solution they give you is not genuine, The studs they provide you with are not real solid gold or silver Maybe you have ultra sensitive ears.
The most likely one is that they havn't provided you with real gold studs.
I went to claires to get my ears pierced. I paid £22 and they got infected. They used a gun and they weren't equal. The workers weren't experienced and the earrings were proper small.
Not long ago, my mate went to the local piercing shop and she got her ears done for a fiver each. Plus Zara is a proffesional piercer.
Go to a local piercing salon
because they arent trained, and they are so horrible and cheap. doing it all in a sweaty little shop. on top of everything they use a gun! they are nasty! and they use gold and silver metals which you arent supposed to. any certified piercer will tell you that titanium is the way to go because it doesnt contain nickel.
First of all, they aren't as experienced as the professionals at the piercing salons. Second, they use the piercing gun, which is completely unsanitary and dangerous. It's best to spend the extra few dollars to get them pierced at a salon by a professional. :)
