Why is my ipod touch not working?
My 8gb 2nd gen ipod touch worked great until today. The screen is extremely dim, it will flicker lighter and darker then turn off. Then the screen wont even turn on for anothe ten minutes. And I cant touch slide anything.
If you just bought it recently I would send it back, other than that it sounds like a hardware issue (do you drop it often? do you give it plenty of TLC?) It’s beyond repair if you don’t have a warranty and it is a hardware problem, sorry.
Hey. You need to reset also know as a hard reboot. Here is how you do it:
Press and hold the sleep/wake button and home button at the same time for 10-15 seconds(see image below), until the Apple logo appears on the screen.
After the Apple logo disappears, and the main menu is shown, ensure that all of your music/files/photos are still intact.
