I live with my grandma and after our 18 year old cat died, I was broken so she let me get a kitten and she couldn't resist so she got one herself, they are half sisters, yet my cat is the one with all the attitude and hers is afraid of almost everything and everyone, she only seems to come to me to rub on me and everything, I mean no one really gives her attention so I try like hell to fill in everyone else. I mean my grandma gives her attention when she goes to bed but. We have never hurt her in any way, we have never deliberately scared her, and yet she seems so afraid, she doesn't get hostile with others or anything, she just seems to have trust issues with everyone except who lives here and my boyfriend. Is there anything else I can do to help her besides constantly playing with her and giving her attention?
No. They have different personalities. My cat took years before she quit jumping at every sound. She still does not like to be picked up or handled. Some cats are like that. Playing too much or getting too much attention could be overstimulating. She'll be fine if you just let her be.
They have WAY different personalities. If shes small then... Hey you'd be scared to if you were that small and everyone was HUGE like freakin godzilla!
let her be but also give her attention just dont over do it, kay? Try to be slow around her. no bangging pots and pans
