Why is music now a days complete and total crap!?

There are still some songs that are good. Not a lot, but yeah they are there. I think this song was mad in the year 2000 MonsterMagnet - Powertrip. A more recent one is 2010 Tobymac - Tonight. Those 2 are pretty good. Most songs are still BLAH today! They got rave, techno, and more of that category of music. Disturbed - Land of Confusion actually focuses on things happening today. And what, theres songs talking about s3x?

The music will always be there no matter how old or new it is. If you have a problem with nowadays music. Don’t listen to it. You’ll still have youe punk and 80’s stuff even if its 2010.

I no what you mean but I think today’s rock is so much better than the old rock. well most of it anyways. I feel like todays rock writes about what is going on in the real world, and I like when the artist writes about their lives because then you can actually relate to it. the classic or old rock, I feel like its all “fake”. I feel like the artists wrote about what people wanted to hear and feel. I don’t like that its being fake. todays rock actually writes about today and how people are feeling and not how they want to feel.

It’s moved off the radio. Mainstream music is only a tiny part of what’s out there today. There are entire genres out there that a lot of people have never even heard of. If you look no further than MTV you deserve to hear nothing but crap music.

Depends what your into. I like a mixture of music. If I like it, I listen to it. I like some old stuff, and some new stuff. I try not to exclude a particular genre or time period.

because the media uses a lot more sex and a lot more skanks to sell there music nowdays and unfortunantly, that sells, because music has evolved nowdays its not really about the music, its about the outitts worn in the video and the actual music video itsef if you listen to music nowdays most of it either makes no sense, or is about being promiscuous and you can bet the music video will have at least 1 half naked girl dancing like a stripper im with you though I love 80s music and quite a lot before back when a music video involved the band actually playing there music live and not some god awfull crap or a bunch of slutty girls dancing around but this is music today you dont have to listen to it or watch it I dont like watching rage or video hits anymore because all the music is crap, and im content listening to my cds

A lot of mu friends are sick of the modern crap and asked me for old music. So now my school listens to led zeppelin, jimi, floyd, beatles, metallica, the chillies. Actual good music.

Some people would say music nowadays is just as good-if not better-than the music of the 80’s.

It’s a matter of opinion that you think today’s music is total crap.

If music today was like in the 8o’s you’d probably hate. New music sometimes makes old music all the better, you know?
