why is it so hard to admit you like someone?
seriously. It gets on my nerves. bleh. So why do you think it’s so hard to admit you like someone?
Mostly people are afraid of rejection, or they are scared of their little fantasy of the other person liking them back will be destroyed. Some people’s egos can’t take rejection, and some people aren’t just comfortable opening up their true feelings to someone when they don’t know what will happen. Some people are just scared/wary of the unknown.
The best way is to just think that you have nothing to lose when you do it. In fact, you have more to gain. You gain a good friend when the other person likes you back, or you grow wiser and learn to be more confident the next time you admit to someone else that you like him/her.
