why doesn't my friend listen to me?

Okay so my friend…she has never had much luck with relationships…she’s 2 years older and though she asks for my advice on the guys she likes and dates…she won’t ever listen to me when I warn her…I guess you could say that I have some type of annoying 6th sense when it comes to jerk alert radar…but no matter how many times that I am right about a guy that’s just using her…she won’t listen to reason. She thinks just because I’m younger that I don’t understand anything about relationships…if she asks for my opinion on these things that bother her(such as not being able to keep a steady boyfriend that isn’t a cheater, bad news, etc etc) then why on earth does she not heed my advice when I have a bad feeling about one of them? I mean one of the last guys she was with a couple of months ago was a stalker for pity’s sake…I’m afraid she’s gonna wind up extremely heartbroken or worse if she doesn’t learn to trust me…ANY AND ALL ADVICE IS WELCOME ON THIS ONE…CAUSE I AM CLUELESS!

Right. First of all, thinking you know it all is a little arrogant not to mention you come off as really controlling. And she’s asking your advice because she wants you to support her. Not because she wants to hear the truth…
