Why doesn't my boyfriend compliment me?

I try really hard to do anything I can to get compliments from anyone especially my boyfriend. I’m the smart type that enjoys school and I get teased about it a lot. But I still have a life though. I just dont know what to do because everyone else compliments me a lot… sept for him. What can I do? Is there something wrong with me?

guys arnt good at getting hints, if your not directly telling him what you want, he will probably get confused or wont notice so tell him directly youd like him to compliment you more maybe he just doesnt think about it, and its not something he normally does

awe no fair m3q9n xD remember this men are silent but boys will talk. if he shows affection emotionally then he’s complimenting you without sayin anywords b/c why use words when affection can mean so much more

Just remind him of little things he can do to compliment. Ask him little things like do you like what I’m wearing for you? or something along those lines and he will clearly say yeah and then if you want more ask him what he likes about it etc. It’s kind of a painful process to pull it out but he’ll catch on. And don’t forget to compliment him every once in a while :) Do unto others what you expect others to do unto you ;)

Maybe you should tell him that you would like a compliment every now and then… guys need some help with some things ha
