Why doesn't he like me?

Hi, ok so there’s this guy that I like and I’ve told him I like him…I told him last year and he said that he wasn’t interested in a relationship at that moment but maybe next year and I respected that. So this year is the next year and he knows I like him but whenever I’m around him he always flirts with my friend and stuff, it really hurts me becos he knows that I like him, the girl is also really flirty and stuff. oh and then another problemo my one friend met this guy and that day he told her he liked her and stuff and she asked for his number and they chatted and stuff, but he seems like he wants to move really fast and I REALLY want my friend to get to know him first becos I’ve been where she is now and I’ve fallen for guys too fast and it gets you into a lot of trouble a long the way if you just head into it head first…so it would be great if I could just get some advice on thise two things… THANKS A BUNCH!! :) xoxox

Usually when a guy says he is not interested in a relationship at the moment, hes really saying that he doesnt want to date you at all. It sounds like he likes you a lot as a friend and doesnt want to hurt you. It doesnt have anything to do with you necessarily, just the dating chemistry isnt there for him. As for your friend, keep encouraging her to slow done. Again unfortunately, some things you have to learn the hard way and this is one of them.
