Why does my dog have dummies?

My dog is pinching my daughters dummies and putting them on her bed

A dog can easily come to the believe that it’s hers puppies :-)

I had a dog who got all crazy about a pair of socks that I had, and she acted as if those socks really was her puppies :-)

It’s weird, but very common. they think they’ve got pups. My dog got larger nipples and she also got milk in them! Just don’t worry. It will pass. But you need to act nice with your dog. Let her have them for a little while, and you’ll just have to take it away from her. And when you take it, it’s not enough to hide it. You have to get it out of your house and really get rid of it, because the dog can smell tham if they are in the house.

I know that MANY people believe that their dog are super intelligent, but they are NOT. When you take her “puppies” away, she’ll forget them fast.

It’s just like when a dog have real pups, and you sell them. It takes a couple of weeks, and the dog will forget.

They are rubbery, chewwy, and small- therefore, she can, and will take them. My dog does the same thing. Also, they’ve got the baby’s drool and smells all over them- if you think your baby’s breath smells good, just think how amazing she smell’s to your dog, lol. (also formula residue could be attracting the dog) Keep them out of reach. That’s what we have to do. Sometimes our dog takes them out of my son’s hand though, and the baby is happy to share. :)
