why does he do this? ):

I have a pet mouse that is like 8 months old. About 3 days ago he started dragging his 2 back legs. Sometimes he can twitch like a toe or a whole foot. He has no problem useing the bathroom. He shows no sign of pain at all. He gets around fine and the other mice still treat him normal. I did find a little bit of blood on his back. He used to be my most active mouse. My parents said he looks paralyzed and I kinda think so to. He use to be ean extreame breeder. I would take him to the vet but we cant pay for it. What do I do? Whats wrong with him? HELP!! ):

Answer #1

Mice only live a couple of years in captivity… and that’s with care, healthy food & clean water.

In the wild? About 6 months.

Answer #2

my old dog did that aswell its something to do with its glands I think they may be blocked. but it dont matter you dont have to go to the vet. we just told her off if she did it in the house cause she was draging her butt around the floor! =)

Answer #3

If he doesn’t appear to be in pain (not hiding, still eating, moving around, etc)…then he probably isn’t in pain. His breeding days are probably over, tho.
