Why do my lungs feel like this?
For the past week or so, my lungs feel like they are restricted. I can’t breathe in fully, because my lungs feel like there not big enough or something-Like there is something stopping them from expanding all the way. It hurts to tak edeep breaths, also. It’s not like excrutiating pain, just discomfort. My mother has asthma, but when I was younger I went to get checked for it, and the doctor said I didn’t have it. Is it possible I could have gotten it since then? Or could it be something more severe?
If you haven’t had a medical physical in a few years, then it might be worthwhile.
However, I wouldn’t worry too much about it. I had the same problem when I was growing up. It was just my lungs needing to “‘grow”‘ more to accommodate the oxygen demands my body was requiring.

I have asthma if it goes unchecked you can develop it into emphysema or permanent lung scaring my advice go to your doctor the can give you meds to stop the restriction
go see the doctor… even tho you got checked out when you were younger… unfortinatly it can be possible to get it later on… my sister wasnt diagnosed with asthma untill she was about 7 or so, so go get seen to because you’ll be able to get summit sorted out now.. because it could get worse
good luck.. hope its not asthma tho but even if it is..at least they can give you an inhaler for it
