Why do evrytme I turn on the tv its the same show and same episode?

OK so I watch some tv before I go to sleep and then I go to bed. When I wake up I turn on teh tv and then go get ready. WHen I sit back down the tv is always playing the same tv show and the same episode of the night before. Maybe its not on purpose but it happens like 5 times out of the week. and if someone has answers id like to know. Because im starting to get annoyed!

You’re falling victim to the perils of syndicated television. Syndication works like this: when a television series has produced a certain amount of episodes (usually 100, but it varies), the original network bundles them into a package and sells the entire package to another network to use as they see fit. This is a great deal for stations like USA and TNT, who don’t have the money to produce an entire broadcast days’ worth of original content, so they can buy an entire run of a popular show to fill their air time.

Problem is, even 100 episodes does not last very long when you have 24 hours to fill. Considering most seasons only have 22-24 episodes, if you play two episodes of The Office in the morning and then two more at night, you can run through an entire season in less than a week. Hence, you start to see repeats much, much more quickly then you would on regular broadcast television.
