why cant you edit your answers or questions anymore?

  You can edit your question *before* people reply to it...we had people erase their questions, so, once you get replies, if you want to add clarification, just post it yourself as a reply :)

  For answers, you have a 15 minute window with which to edit, even after people reply to the question *after* you posted your answer.

  maybe, you haven't fully activated your account yet (like confirming your funadvice account thru your email)..

  I had that issue before, but at the time I changed my email address, I then was able to edit the answers/questions I have already entered..

  well I joined sep 2 2008
  and we didnt have to activate our accounts back then..
  I don't know what to do
