Guys like you more when you like them , even if they would not admit it. You can not help liking someone who blatantly likes you, is there for you when no one else is, stands up for you, respects you, and supports you. Take it from someone who is desensitized towards a lot of feelings, you can make the choice not to indulge or do something about liking someone, and hope it goes away. Or that they do, out of sight , out of mind! Guys flirt for the same reason anyone does, it exerts power and control, if your good at it it also exudes sexual or physical ideas from your pores (hormones) and towards you…Who does not like being in control? A guy pulling away, or “going cold” as you put it, is not a sign that he up and changed, it means that either you misread signals that you thought you were getting from him, or that he feels a loss of control and wants that control back, which means he has to feel you loose control, by worrying that he doesnt like you, and paying him more attention than necessary. Also, guys look for reason to slow down feelings or relationships, paying attention to the idea that “they went cold”, tells them they can use that behavior to weed off you, or cause you to lose interest and think they are a jerk, freeing them from getting hurt later. Hope this helped, have a blessed week!
