why are "best friends" so... not best friendy?

okay so, my bestest friend ever (well kinda, we’re pretty tight though) who I always hang out with, and party with and get into trouble with, wants me to lie for her and let her tell her mom that she’s coming over here saturday night to stay the night but really she’s just going to hang out with this guy we always chill with. and does she invite me?? no, of course not. she wants him all to herself. he lives like 2 seconds away from me, and she just expects me to sit in my room and not party, wondering whats going on? I mean, really that kinda offended me. she’s never been that rude to me before. and ok, it probably doesn’t sound that bad to whoever decides to read this, but it really was. she’s totally using me. so, even though she’s my best friend and all, I really wanna be rude back! but, why do best friends do this to you sometimes? it totally doesn’t make any sense…

I wouldnt lie for her because yuu could get your own self in trouble
