Why are all my girl friends bi?

I’m a sophmore in highschool and I’m the only one out of all of my girl friends that is not bi or bicurious. At parties, they’re always making out or feeling eachother or something like that. I’m not the least bit attracted to girls in an way, and to me, its pretty gross to think about because there is just no attraction. When girls ask me to do stuff with them and I say, uhm no, I dont like girls, they tell me I’m weird because most girls my age do. Is it just me, or is that strange that everyone is bi? Do you think its just to get attention?

(I have no problem with them being bi, I just thinks its kinda weird that every girl I know is)

I’m straight but I’m also a teenager and what teenagers do is experiemnt. Teens want to explore the world and try everything out there and know what it’s like because we’re just getting to know ourselves. I certainly don’t do it for attention, I am attracted to some girls, but I know this is probably just a phase.

Sadly some pathidic gurls do it because they think its kool or to get guys attention but they really are straight. And it sux because as a bisexual I’ve went up to gurls I’ve seen kissing other gurls in the past and asked them out “ oh im straight” Or “ I only do it for fun:…Its annoying and pisses me off. This is why some lesbians wont date bisexuals. Just tell them uh aha im straight not weird, thx so much.

urghh I hate that. a lot of girls now think its cool to be bi, some celebrities are bi and guys think its hot, so most girls just say they are even when there not, basically for the attention that guys give them.

It appears to be a new trend. I see it at my high school too. This too shall pass. On the one hand its kind of irritating because most of these girls are straight, they will go on to live perfectly ‘normal’ lives with guys, and it will just have been a phase. Making the whole sexuality thing seem like a preference. On the other hand, it’s kinda nice that sexuality doesnt fit into these rigid boundaries any more.
