when ever I look outside I freak out thinking its a mirror (like when I see someone outside) think they are behind me. I hate looking at cars parked on the street!!!It freaks me out becuase I feel like someone is watching me so I'm alway inspecting the room with a knife in hand,911 on speed dial.PLEase help!!!
it's actually not an uncommon fear, though to take it THAT far, it's a bit of a different story. Eisoptrophobia-the fear of mirrors. Some believe people fear mirrors because they fear encountering a type of demons-mirrors are believed to be gateways to "other realms" or even the spirit, or even "spirit realms". It's believed "seers", or divinators use them for looking into the future(or past), or to contact the dead, or "other worldly beings". Here's a website for more information =>

Perhaps you can get therapy for it
I admit, I've a minor case of Eisoptrophobia, but it only takes place at night in the dark. I have to make sure no mirrors are facing my bed, and the only mirrors in my room are small mirrors, out of fear of something coming out of it and getting me(which I know is completely irrational). There's a large mirror in the bathroom, so I tend not to bathe to often at night, or at least when every one is asleep.
Hope this helps
Maybe try a little exposure therapy for phobia. Try looking into a mirror for a few seconds, rest a bit and extend it over time. Don't rush too much though, rushing it often increases the fear, so take it slow. Keep doing it until you can go easy with it now. CBT sheets online can be good with getting over phobias too. You're welcome.
