Why am I scared of going out with guys?

How come every time I start to flirt with a guy and find out he likes me back, I back off? I have done it all my life and now I am 19 years and I have barely ever been out on dates before. Whenever a guy tries to ask me out I back off even though I really like him! I get so angry at myself!

You havn’t really done much of this before. I used to be like this. One time I eventually said “f*ck it, lets dive in the deep end” and made sure I did.

I think you are scared at what you are “supposed” to do.

I would suggest next time, if you find out you like each other, start asking slightly personal questions like “so do you like me?” “how much you like me?” and eventually, (after determining they are single and ready for a relationship) “would you go out with me?”

I know what you’re thinking, that I make it sound easy but this is what I did after constantly failing at making the right moves. Often due to shyness too.

After you done it 2 or 3 times you will find it a LOT easier.
