Why am I hurting him?

Im 24, me and my boyfriend, 28 have been going through a bad patch. He said he’s happy most of the time but hates me when we fight. In a fight he blurted out that he likes a girl at work. When things calmed down he said he lied to hurt me about liking someone and said it to hurt me. I always bought up the past and he said that he said that to make a point of me beeing so blinded by his past(I was jelous and insecure) that I did not see the future coming. I dont know if he really means it or not. If this is true my heart will break.what do I do in order to find out the real truth?

1.threaten to leave him

  1. ask one of his friends who might know
  2. trust him and berry it under the carpet

Whether its true or not, he’s with you. Sometimes, when fights get real intense(and when you truly hurt the guy’s feelings), they’ll say things like that, sometimes without realizing it. It’s kind of like when you hit someone, and they lash back as hard as they can.

Yes, he might like her. But he’s with you, which means he likes you more.
