Why am I bleeding when im not suppose to have my period?

I’ve been on my birth control now for 3 years, im not suppose to get my period on it but it is normal for people to get it if they do. Its not odd. But I never have gotten it and lately I’ve just been spotting a lot. Its far and inbetween but it happens for like the day then goes away. Should I be worried about a miscarriage or is this all just normal. Please help! ~t~

Answer #1

Spotting is normal when you are on birth control. Normally women start off on birth control and still have a period, but the longer you use it the smaller your period can get.

Also if you are using your birth control correctly, then you won’t get pregnant (there is like a .01 % chance which is very small) and therefore you shouldn’t be worrying about any miscarriages.

if you are on birth control then you shouldn’t be worried about miscarriage. even with birth control you still get your periods even if it is just a little bit of spotting. but if you feel like something is wrong then go get yourself checked out.
