Who thinks he is gay?

I have a friend who is going out with a guy she really likes and he really likes her. She just found out that he was given head by another guy about 2 years ago before they met. He was always single and she was his first kiss and first everything (Except head) She asked him if he still liked guys but he insists that he is not gay and he felt wrong when the guy was doing to it him and he isnt proud of it and he doesnt like her bringing it up. He said he felt it may have been because he had never had a girlfriend and no girl had ever shown an interest in him. Does this sound like a valid argument or does he not want to bring it up incase he discovers that he is gay? My friend is worried about it. help would be good

It sounds like a valid argument. Fooling around sexually with someone of the same sex does not make you gay. Being attracted to members of the same sex makes you gay. It sounds like if he IS gay, he’s not ready to admit it to himself, let alone to other people, but if we take everything he said at face value, your assumption is probably correct – he was horny and lonely and curious, saw an opportunity, and took it.

If this behavior repeats itself – fooling around with guys, insisting he’s not gay, feeling shame – then he has deeper issues he needs to work on, but so far, this is just normal behavior when one is examining what role sex is going to play in their lives, like the college girls who get drunk and make out with their best friends, then never touch a woman again.

As a guy I would say that he is gay I don’t know any man that has thought about anything sexual with another man let alone do something like that I would never be able to do something like that even if I was lonely or whatever. He may not want to admit it to himself but I just don’t see how a straight man could do something like that.
