who...should I respsect girl code or go for it?

So my friend and I like the same guy and he’s really nice and he keeps starin at me like he’s interested. My friend sits next to him. She’s liked him since like 2nd grade or whatever. I’ve like him almost a year. So I know the code says “if two friends like the same guy then he’s off limits till the other backs off.” but another one says “who ever liked him longer has automatic dibbs” we won’t see him next year. Should I respect girl code or not?

Wow, he is not an object, just become one ‘dibs’ does not mean she gets him. ITS HIS CHOICE. HELLO?

Yes, you do live in a real world, that the guy have a say in this.

Answer #2

IF you think your friend likes him MORE than you do, then let go…but if not then just go for him…well,I guess you’ll never know…but if I were you, I would just 4get about this guy, guys can ruin friendship…trust me…

I would choose your girl friend because boys come and go, but girl friends are forever. I am 21 now, but when I was in high school I had a hard time with this because it seemed like everytime my best friend liked someone they ended up liking me, but only under one circumstance did I date the guy she liked after they broke up, ONLY because she slept with his brother before she ever slept with him and he found out, so she screwed up her chances and that wasn’t my fault. So if your friend has liked him since 2nd grade, let her have a chance if the guy doesn’t like her make sure she knows, and definately discuss with her before you try to date him. Hope this helps!
