I wouldn’t say he’s famous, but his interrogation image was a popular Internet meme a few years ago. The fact that he has pretty striking facial deformities was only half the story. He was catapulted to Internet stardom when it was learned that the photo was released because he had been arrested and registered as a sex offender. Being a strange-looking sex offender is almost guaranteed to get you noticed on message boards, so he really didn’t have a chance.

I fail to see how a person’s deformity is funny. I wouldn’t really consider him famous. Many people thought his image was a hoax, which is probably what made it so popular.
