Who know's if Kat von D's make-up line is Animal Friendly???
Who know’s Kat von D’s make-up line (or Sephora on the whole for that matter) is animal friendly? I.e.: Anti- Vivisection (live animal testing) & no animal prodcuts used to make the products, as a lot of make-up lines do (even ENDANGERED animals such as whales -blubber- and even tigers)???

It is cruelty free…this quote was posted on the Sephora website by the customer service team:
Our private label brand Sephora Brand is cruelty free (meaning that the products have never been tested on animals). The Kat Von D collection is a part of the Sephora private label
Oh and Kat von D’s eye make-up brush set? you bet…natural bristles…
so no, her make-up line is NOT animal friendly…
One thing to remember…just because a product is labeled ‘cruelty free’ only means that products was not TESTED on animals…it does NOT mean all the ingredients are not animal by-products or that they are not tested on animals.
Sephora is owned by LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton..and they use quite a bit of leather in their production of purses and luggage. Also, the Sephora company consists of many brands…all marketed and advertised by sephora…many are NOT animal friendly… The Sephora brand collection contains false eyelashes…real animal hair…make-up brushes…real animal hair…
