Who: Is it realistic to want to become an actress?

I really want to become an actress but I’ve never took classes. but during school I act with my friends all the time!! So is this the career for me?? My mom’s thinkin bout puttin me in acting classes at the local theatre. I think I can do it though.So please tell me what you think and your experienes!!! thx :)

I think Its a great idea. I mean just look at like ashley greene from twilight (she plays alice) Twilight was her first real job and look at where shes at now.

not even 1% of people wanting to be an actress actually make it successfully. sorry but its true. I would strongly recommend getting a degree to fall back on.

You can be an actress if you are good and have the right connections. You know what they say about preparation meeting opportunity. I also believe that it could be destiny. Do you think you are meant to be an actress? And an actress for what? There are so many things: movies, sitcoms, commerials, plays, voice over animation etc. If you have passion for it go for it. And if you don’t become an actress you can find something else. But if you do you will be happy you went for it.
