Who here has given blood before?
Ok so im 19 and I have donated blood twice.
I want to do it again soon. My boyfriend’s church is having a blood drive hopefully this month and I plan on going. Well tomorrow my college is having one of those free H1N1 vaccination things and I was planning on getting one. My question is,will I still be able to donate blood if I get a vaccination?
well I dont have the flu,like im not sick or anything but I just got it so I would have less of a chance of getting it.
You should be able to donate blood if you get the vaccination, however if you are sick they don’t like you donating blood. But best to ask them when you get there.
your best bet would be to ask about it when you get your vaccine. but better get that before giving blood. cause that you need. and then maybe ask your boyfriend’s church about it.
