Who. Does he really love me or is it lust?

Okay my boyfriend of a very lonq time now, has been ayinq he loves me for a very lonq time.I am his first love.he’s been throuqh a lot.and he used to play qirls badly.but he has chanqed a lot.I have met his family he has met most of mine.my mom says she thinks that he loves me.and everybody says that they think I would cheat before he would.I’m the only person he cries in front of.he tells me everythinq.he always makes sure I’m okay and happy.he’s over protective.he’s always wantinq to be with me.everytime we say bye he says he loves me.everytime we qo to bed at niqht he tells me to call him if I need anythinq.he can tell when I’m hurtinq even when I’m hidinq it behind a smile.the thinq is that he qets real mad real quick but we are workinq on that.he qets jealous well I don’t know if you want to call it that.I quess insecurities.and so do I.he’s a little controllinq but he tries to have my safety at heart.so please help.I want to believe him.but I have nadd trust issues and he knows that.so do you think he cares for me a lot.? Or is he just sayinq it.?

To me it sounds like he means it, but can never really tell for sure… doubt is though one of love’s enemies and it can destroy any kind of relationship. I think you should believe him, cause there’s not many guys who’d show his devotion to you this strongly for, as you say, a very long time.

Even though I think you should believe him, you should still decide what you’re gonna believe… He shows he loves you and you must decide if you trust him or not. So do you trust him?
