So, I'm looking for a creative, but simple way to store jewelry, so that it's organized and not hard to keep that way. I'd like ideas using household items that can be recycled to hold earings/necklaces/bracelets or all three. I find that when I just throw them all in a box, (obviously) everything get's tangled, especially necklaces. Whoever has an effective way to hold jewelry, help me! :]
Try hanging your necklaces from small baby-sized clothes hangers that you can decorate any way you want to, if you even want to, and hang them from your wall or on the back of your door if you don't want them to be noticeable. You can hang bracelets around the the hook of the hanger too if you want and even drape a pretty scrap of fabric over the hanger to put your earrings through. You could be as basic and essential or as decorative and creative as you want!
Egg cartons.
You can poke little holes in the top to hold your earrings and rings can go into the cups.
You can even put necklaces in the cups if you lay them flat out on tissue (or plastic wrap, etc...) and wrap them before you fold them (it will keep the chains from getting tangled).
