Who can give me advice on love?
Ok so im an 18 yr old girl…and im dating this guy whos studying medicine and his parents are kinda strict about him having a serious relationship. Were scared they wont accept our relationship. I’ve been stressing a lot lately because his parents want a perfect girl for him fisiclly, and well im kind of on the chubby side. Im trying really hard to loose weight, I really love him and I know he loves me. Any ideas on what to do?
Weight is jut a number…My daughter gained weight and just cutting out carbs sugar and light exercise was the trick. Never beg anyone to be in love with your exterior, your heart is the answer
I agree with ichinanarky. Basically you are in love with him, you want to be with him and not his parents.
Love is a very very difficult thing. It brings the greatest pleasures but the most painful hurts.
He himself is also facing with a decision because he loves both is parents and you. If he lets his parents know that you are good for him, then they should accept you. I’d hat to say if he has to choose, but he might have to.
Also you gotta be willing to let him go if must. For love is neither selfish nor self seeking.
The real question here is, what is HE willing to do?
If he cares enough about you to stand up against his parents, then you have a chance to make this relationship work, but if he’s the kind of guy that will do everything his parents want, you just might have to move on.
If he cares for you, then you shouldn’t have to change or lose weight just to please his parents.
