I have a White ring Of like taste Buds or Sumthing Around my tongue Ring...I was wondering what it is and how I can get rid of it... My friend said its normal Is it?
How old is your piercing? I had that for a couple of weeks after I got mine done. I just kept rinsing my mount and GENTLY brushed around it when I brushed my teeth. IF it should start to ooze anything from this area you should contact a doctor as that could indicate an infection of some kind.
DO NOT brush it hard and DO NOT try to cut anything off your tongue. All that will do is lead to more complications and probable infection. I really don't know where some people get their advice ideas from.
I just recently got my tongue pierced and yes the white around the area is normal. its an indication of a scab which is the tongues way of getting used to the foreign piercing. just make sure you rince 6-8 times daily with normal mouth wash (orange) for 30-60 seconds each time.
it doesnt happen to all, but its not bad. its just your toung finally getting used to the hole, or that its iiritated...let it air out, but keep an eye on it so it doesnt get to out of hand because it might lead to an infection xoxoxo Britz ♥
It's just skin that is either dead or dying. It's normal so don't worry. If you REALLY wanted it off you'd probably either have to brush it off really hard or cut it off but then again it would most likely get infected then.
if its not hurting or anything, and stays white. then it should go away within a few days to 2 weeks. it sounds normal.if it dosnt perhaps re-visit your peircer and ask them whats wrong with it
I got my tongue pierced about two weeks ago and I still have this white ring around my tongue. It kinda looks like dead taste buds or dead skin. Is that normal?
It is really common with those kinds of piercings...it noting to worry about just as long as there is no puss or anything you are fine
I didn't have that when I got mine pierced. most likely it's normal as long as it doesn't hurt or anything like that.
I had that when I had mine pierced, it goes away after a few days.. no worries!
