okay, so I wasn't baptized in any particular religion because my parents think church is silly. but my friend takes me to Mormon church when I sleep over on sat. night. does tat make me Mormon because I kind of joined? should I be re-baptized?
If your attending our church which I welcome you your, basicly just a visitor if your going to your friends house to sleep over. If you want to join the church then you'll need to have the missionaries over to teach the gospel with you then if you accept the gospel and read the Book of Mormon, then you can get baptized if you want. So, when attending our church, your not a member unless your baptized so, I would suggest talking with the missionaries and see what they can do to help you set up an apointment. Welcome!! I have to tell you myself, I joined the church in 2006 and love it!! Your parents shouldn't think church is silly unless they're Athiests. So, good luck and I hope you enjoy going to our church.
My advice as I said to others in this section. Don't worry about what religion you are find what you belive in. If you belive in your heart in God than You belive in God. If in your heart you belive in nothing than you belive in nothing. If after that you find a religion that fits you belives than so be it. Religions are titles don't worry about that. . Know whats in your heart first.
babe you choose your religion and it has to be something you believe in. so because you go to a morman church once in a while it doesnt make you morman and even if you went to a christan church it doesnt make you a christian. and church is just a small detail of religion it has to be something you have faith in and believe in and worship
Nobody can tell you what you religion is, its all about what you choose to be. Don't let other peoples opinions about their religion influence what you truly believe. You just need to find yourself - no rush.
You're not any religion, but my guess is you've been incidentally indoctrinated into Christianity. Otherwise, you would find Mormon services bizarre and freaky.
What religion matters not - what matters is whether one accepts Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior - that is the WAY to Heaven...Hope this helps !!
when you get baptized into the mormon church, that's when you are officially considered a member. at the moment you're not.
Have you studied the bible? If not, how about reading the whole chapter of John... that might help.
(((hugs)))
I wouldn't worry too much about it unless you are real religious or something.
