Which is better, guinea pig or ferret?

Money is not really an object for me, I want a cuddly cute pet. Nothing that screams at night, I want something cute and dosent need attention 24/7.

How about a nice stuffed animal from Walmart? They have a great selection, you can cuddle them, they make no noise, and you never have to pay attention to them.

1:They both cry. Ferrets do tend to cry a tiny bit more but they both scream so I guess you wont want either. 2:Ferrets are fun, but guinea pigs are sweet. ferrets will run around and play plus cuddle. guinea pigs just sit, walk around a little, very skiddish and scared. 3:They both stink, have to clean the cages quite a bit. I’ve had both for years.

Answer #3

Get a guinea pig. I’ve had guinea pigs for a while now and they are so sweet. I’d recommend it over getting a ferret. Just make sure you hold it whenever you have the chance and give it some love and attention because that’s what all animals need

Answer #4

Well ferrets sleep a lot (14-18 hours per day, to be exact) a friend of mine had one and it was always sleeping. But they are very soft and cuddly, which is what you’re going for.

Answer #5

I had 2 ferrets I had to bathe them a lot they got stinky and they chewed stuff up when out. The launching out from under the couch to attack my feet was awful they have some sharp teeth. You need to train them to poo in this corner litter box thing if you do not train them they can shoot poo up the corners of your walls. They love corners. They were fun though very entertaining to watch run around and play. It all depends on the level of cleaning and training you need to do unless you cage them a lot. Good luck with your new pet what ever you get.
