Where can I send a movie script?

I have a finished movie script and would like to find a producer. I am a proud Nobody and am ready for my first rejection-or-success! Does anybody know where I can send my movie script?

Network with people in hollywood :)

If you don’t know any, start meeting some - linkedin is good for that (professional networking site).

It’ll take a while…as there is a saying in Hollywood, everybody has a script (like in Silicon Valley, everybody has a startup). Good luck with it.

You can try searching online. Just in case you didn’t know, there is a specific format that the industry writes their scripts in that is very easy to write in on Microsoft Word. I think it’s called Dramatic Script form, or something like that. If you put it in the correct format, it could give you a much better chance at having produced into a movie because it’ll make you look more professional, more like you know what you’re doing. Just a helpful suggestion :) It’s not that difficult of a format, either. Trust me, I know, because I have a TV production class in school that I’m in, so I know. If you can’t find the correct format online I can send it to you if you’d like :)
