Where can I find gothic techno music?

So in the south park episode you got f’d in the a, the goth kids do like their dance to some really rad dark techno music, and I was wondering where I can find stuff like that.like the kinda stuff that has cool sound effects but is well dark. Sorry if I havent explained the kind of stuff im looking for but I dont really know how to explain it.

I haven’t seen that episode. I’ll look it up in a minute to get a better idea of what you mean, but these artists might be what you’re looking for:

The Cruxshadows She Wants Revenge Clan of Xymox Blutengel Diary of Dreams London After Midnight

You may also want to look up some stuff by Emilie Autumn. She doesn’t really fit into that category but you might like her. Try the songs Dead is the New Alive, Unlaced, I Know Where You Sleep and 306.

Or synth/futurepop:

Assemblage 23 Seabound VNV Nation Covenant

Or it could be more EBM/electro-industrial:

Grendel Aesthetic Perfection Combichrist Uberbyte FGFC820 Psyclon Nine

Although, these bands aren’t very ‘gothic’ sounding at all. Worth a listen though. :)

Edit: Okay, I watched that clip… Hm. Try: Joy Division The Cure Switchblade Symphony Siouxsie and the Banshees The Sisters Of Mercy (especially the song This Corrosion) New Order
