Where can I advertise babysitting?

Hey, I’ve wanted to be a babysitter since I was about 10 and now that im old enough to do it, I’ve put up an add in our local newspaper… But so far, no calls and I was thinking, where else could I advertise my services? Anyone got any ideas?

well sometimes they will have a website for the city you live in and on the webstie they would have a virtual yard sale and you can put an add there or like you could make some business cards and ask your mom to give them to her co workers or her custers(also works with dads just put mom because easier)

make a flyer and copy about 200 flyers at office max or staples and then put them around your neighborhood, especially the parts where there are kids. and just hang them up and joints that have a community bulletin board. and just hang them anywhere randomly. or even put them in neighbors mailboxes too

No one is going to hire a baby sitter they arent sure of… Would you let some random stranger near your kid? What you need to do is use the people you know… so talk to your family physician and pediatrician, mention you’re looking for kids to baby sit, talk to your friends parents… talk to people are your school, to your parents friends… use any and all contacts you have… if people who know you are aware you’re looking, they’ll recommend you…

check out grocery stores… most places will let you put up a flyer if you ask…
