When we see each other we stare in each others eyes?

I went to middle school with this guy name nick.now were in high school in grade 11,I have a crush on him and I think that he likes me too but I’m not really sure.. In the halls when we see each other we look in each others eyes and he’ll look right at me from across the room and he will stare in my eyes for 8 seconds and look away and then look back again ,but we don’t talk to each other..his friends will always look at me and when I look at them they quickly look away??

who I like this guy Name Mitchell and are parents are good friends and i’m friends with his sister…I’m really shy and he is too when I’m hanging out with his sister he’ll talk to me and we joke around with each other and I sometimes catch him looking at me but he’ll look away as soon as i look at him…..I think he likes me but I’m not sure and if he does it could be awkard for him to like me cuz our parents are friends and cuz I’m his sister friend….His sister says to him”I know who likes you”and he’ll say me and she’ll say ha no way why would she like you the only time she did was when she was 12 but not anymore… I caught him looking about me and he had a huge smile on his face and we looked at each for 3 seconds(which isn’t that long) One day he asked me”Do you think I look Hot”It shocked me cuz he never asked me that and without thinking I said No..????
