When should I tell my family about my sexuality?

Well, Basically, since my first question, (Look on my profile) I kinda figured out that I’m lesbian. I like my friend, but she has a girlfriend, and I want to tell her I like her, and I want to tell my family that I’m lesbian. But, the only reason I haven’t told them, is because; My sister is lesbian, and my whole family are forcing it on me saying things like “I bet you’re going to be a lesbian like your sister” and things like that. My sister always says I can talk to her, but I don’t think I can bring myself to it. I only talk to her friend. She understands me. Like, she knows how I feel and stuff… So do any of you know how I can tell my family? because it’s hard for me to accept myself, unless my family know, if you get me Thanks xx

Well I understand your fear in telling your parents but not your sister! right now she is your biggest support! your sister is always going to be there for you and you need to let her know wats going! im sure she not going to run off and tell your parents because dats not what sisters do but if you cant tel your sister there no way your going to be able to let anyone in your family know! so just tlk to your sister in private and tell her wats going on in your mind! your going to feel a lot better when you tell her! ok I hope you really listen to what I say because I’ve gone through this problem too! good luck!
