When Is the right time to tell him how I feel?

I’ve been with my current boyfriend for 2 months, But have know him for 6 months altogether. And I feel very strongly about him, and I know he feels something strong for me, I said to him when we’d had a few drinks before that I loved him, and he said he feels really strongly about him but cant say he loves me because he doesnt know what love feels like. I have a bad habbit of blurting out my feelings to him when I’ve had a drink, do you think I should stop myself and not talk about it as much? maybe he’ll open up a bit more and tell me what he’s feeling instead of me blahing on all the time? tell me your opinions. Last weekend we went to an enagagement party and I’d had a few drinks and didn’t mention it as much and he seemed to open up more.

When you love and appreciate someone, I think it’s always a good time to tell them. Obviously, if you say it every 5 minutes or only when you are drunk then it might not seem genuine or make the other person feel like they have to say it too. Maybe the best times to say I love you is when you’re alone, after a really nice day, conversation or in bed. A special moment, when you both feel close to eachother. He seems to be a bit reserved or scared to admit his love for you. Reassure yourself that if he’s with you, it’s because he definitely has strong feelings for you. He probably just needs more time to get to know you and feel comfortable talking about his feelings for you.
