When is a woman most and least fertile?

Is there a certain time during a woman’s cycle in which she is least likely to get pregnant? Isn’t she most likely to get pregnant 12-17 days after her last period…day she got it last that is? When is a woman least likely and most likely to get pregnant? Is there any time once she’s gotten her very first period that she isn’t able to get pregnant?

Answer #1

Thanks Pearl! That goes with what I’ve been told a few times.

What, is that 14 days from when you start or end your period?

Answer #2

A woman is only fertile for about 3 to 5 days during her 28 day cycle, and this generally peaks somewhere around 14 days before her next period. This is pretty normal for at least 75% of females.

The problem is, this method isn’t foolproof. Your cycle may not be 28 days. But generally, yes, there is a safer time and a not so safe time each month.

Answer #3

That’s what I thought. Isn’t it like 12-17 days after you get your period in which you are most fertile though, more like to get pregnant?

Answer #4

a woman can get pregnant any time she has sex, at any time of the month, on any day of the year there is no time when a woman is infertile, unless she actually is infertile and whenever she has sex (even if its protected) there is a chance of pregnancy there will always be a chnace of pregnany no matter when you have sex

Answer #5

14 days before the next one starts… which is why it’s a bit difficult to estimate sometimes.. lol.
