I think there thinkin something negative

why does every time I walk in a room and people look at me I think there thinkin something negative about or if I hear people laughing around I just no there laughing at me or if I hear someone say my name I think there talkin crap about me why am I like this help

I get the same thing. everytime I hear someone laughing or snickering I automatically think ther laughin at me…im just really self-concious and that could be why you are the way you are too. ;)

yeah I do that at times

like if I dont want certain people to know something like family I get all freaked out thinkin “they know it they can tell..”

thats just one instance

It sounds to me like you suffer from kind of an “inverted self-centerness”…When I say inverted, I mean that you seamingly “think” everyone is talking, thinking or laughing about you. The fact is, the chances are unlikely that they are giving you anything more than a passing glance, and an even more fleeting thought…before getting on with their own thoughts or problems.
