Whats wrong with kitties skin?

Okay so my sisters kitten is a very weak kitten..or a little cry baby And well last night I was gonna take him outside because she cant Sleep in the house well we’ve noticed that her fur/skin felt a little grany..? And well I examined him/her and it was pretty gross…like her skin had What looked like dandruff and flaky looking..and it was really really ruff..with lots of bumps and around her ears the same thing and her legs too..what is it? Is she sick? Is it bad? Should I even be touching her once we saw this??? What should I do? What is it?

well I took kitty to the vet.. its not fleas or anything..its worse.. things dont look so good.. apparently kitty stepped on an insectiside… or or sumthin like that…its venom for insects.. and she probably swallowed it by accident.. :(

I hope she gets better..thanks anyways guys.

and I know shes not a peice of trash.. also have in mind I was outta the state for 2 weeks and I only have 3 days back..thats when we first saw her like the way we did.. so doesnt it make sense we didnt take her to the vet right away?? besides im not able to get around myself a lot..not bc I dont want to but bc I cant..so I know most of you didnt know that and I’ll excuse all your rude and mean comments.

Answer #2

If she can’t sleep inside and you don’t want to take her to the vet you need to find a new home for her, she is the owners responsiablty, not a peice of trash.

It could be allergies, fleas, mange, ringworm, she needs to be checked out and treated, I sure hope the right thing is done with the kitten,

I think it’s fleas!! serisously though, my cat has fleas so bad!!! it’s disgusting!! you can pick off little chunks of fur so easily!! she’s scabby and the dandruff thing. we’re trying our best to fix it, but once the problem gets too far, it’s really hard to handle.

Answer #6

It’s either fleas or a type of mange, which is a skin infection that can become very painful and irritating for the cat. You need to take it to a vet. And also, if it’s a kitten, why is it sleeping outside? That’s how animals catch these things if they are not properly vetted.
