Whats it like to go trapping?
my friends boyfriend and I are thinking about going, hes done it before, but I haven’t. And he wants to shoot my gun badly so we are making a trade, He takes me trapping. I let him shoot my gun.
Ive been a few times when i was younger, but i couldnt handle it. To me it was almost worst than hunting because atleast with hunting you kill the animal from a distance as soon as you see it. Watching those animals get caught in the traps and watching them trying to escape before they got killed sucked to me. I have nothingg against hunting or trapping if you use the meat you kill, i just didnt like being present when it happened.
Is horrible. Some animals when trapped, if not found soon, will eat themselves free and end up suffering terribly before they die weeks later.
