Whats the best foundation to use?

My skin is pale and I use it to give me a little more colour but I use it to cover up spots and stuff when I get them which is hardly ever but I don’t want it to look like I have foundation on I want to look natural?

Where could I get it from and how much is it?

Hey. Good question.

I’ve used different kinds of foundations for my skin tone since I’m as well very pale with cool undertones. By that I mean my skin seems to have a blue-ish under tone not yellow or olive-ish.

I suggest you go to MAC which can be found in Macy’s and ask a make-up artist to try the right color for your skin tone. They have a very wide selection of types of foundations and color. You can use a liquid foundation. If you choose that, you should buy a good foundation or stippling brush to apply it. Or you can use powder foundation which is a very on-the-go type of product and for that you could get a powder brush and lightly apply it.

Also at MAC, they have a studio fix foundation which is a heavy foundation but gives beautiful, natural.. almost perfect results. They have a satin finish foundation which is a bit lighter and has a little more moisture. It all depends on your skin type as well. (Oily, Dry, Normal to Oily, Ect.)

You can also go to Sephora which is a store at the mall and a make-up specialist can again, match you up with the correct color for foundation. I’ve used Make Up Forever’s HD Liquid Foundation and it works well.

And if you want to cover up spots, after you apply your foundation, you can get a cream or liquid concealer on those spots and blend it right in.

I used Studio Fix from MAC and their liquid concealer (it comes in a tube like a lipgloss would) and I truly love the results. I swear by it. Best product I’ve tried. I also use my powder foundation in the same color if I’m in a rush or if I might be out all day and I apply it lightly over my liquid foundation once it has dried. Great stuff.

Hope this helps!

if you want to add color I suggest lightly dusting on bronzer… my friend has developed this technique where someone blows it on you and it really achieves a good added color but try tanning… it gives your skin a more clear effect for sure, makes your skin softer, and gives your whole body a nice glow versus looking like your wearing a tan mask, ya dig?
