What's the show "Skins" supposed to be about?

The show Skins is from the UK and is about a group of teenagers at college (where people in the UK can go between the ages of 16 and 18) and the different problems and things that happen in their lives. Each episode focuses on a different member of the group and tells things from their perspective.

There is a lot of partying involved and you just get to see lots of aspects of teen life and struggles that people may have. There have been 4 series so far, with the cats being changed every 2 series, so we meet new characters and the old ones have gone on to be at uni or done something else with their lives.

You basically got it all. But just to add, it’s the extreme end of teenage rebels in the UK. They abuse alcohol and substances and the series has a lot of dangerous and illegal content. I just don’t want anyone to think that all UK teenagers are like this x) although it does happen!

Yeah that is a good point to clarify Emily Clarissa- I know my friends and I were certainly not like that lol. There is a bit of poetic license and extremity to the show which is not necessarily reflective of real life, but it is a bit of fun and entertainment, so you can’t always expect it to be :)
